A Good Samaritan rescued a woman who fell out of her wheelchair on the tracks just seconds before a train whizzed by.
Surveillance video shows the moment that the woman, her husband, and
Good Samaritan Andy Zontos crossed the tracks as a train arrived in
Brookfield, Ill. The woman’s husband was pushing her in her wheelchair
when the chair got stuck on the tracks and the woman fell.
Luckily, Zontos witnessed the incident and jumped into action. He
pulled the woman and her husband, who has a prosthetic leg, to safety.
"Just saw that. I just had to help. The train was coming. So I just did what I had to do," Zontos told ABC 7.
The husband and wife suffered minor injuries but are OK.
