Hamilton fourth win of the 2015 campaign sees him extend his title lead to 17 points over Germany's Rosberg and will be some consolation for events a fortnight ago.Leading the prestigious Monaco GP, Hamilton was surprisingly called in by his team for a pit stop under a late safety car, relegating him to third behind Rosberg and second-placed Sebastian Vettel.

It left the Briton fuming and for Mercedes to issue a public apology to him, admitting its error.
Hamilton, defending his world championship, responded by taking pole position at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in Montreal and the outcome never appeared in doubt after a clean start.
